About Us

Penn Surgery Institute was created in 1999 as a convenient and cost-effective means by which the physicians of Penn Orthopedics of Lancaster, could provide quality care to patients. Since that time, several physicians have brought their patients here, preferring the "small center feel" that was envisioned when PSI was designed. Our goal is to prevent the feeling of being overwhelmed that is sometimes associated with large institutions.

Penn Surgery Institute is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center providing a comfortable, caring surgical environment for both patients and physicians. Our professional staff is highly-efficient and is trained in all the latest surgical techniques and medical care. We are equipped with the most modern, advanced medical technology and instrumentation.

Penn Surgery Institute is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Department of Health. In addition, we are certified by Medicare as well as Capital Blue Cross. PSI is also certified by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) ensuring our commitment to the strictest federal and state healthcare regulations.
